Laws tougher- re M. Vick sadistic animal abuser/killer?

RICHMOND, Va.聽鈥斅?When a Bad Newz Kennels dog was wounded in a losing illegal dogfight, NFL star Michael Vick was consulted before the animal was doused with water and electrocuted, some were beaten to death for losing. Some dogs were hanged & strangled when they lost the fight and thrown in a pit. The killing of these dogs was also a part of the "entertainment"

If this is true, then Mr. Vick should serve a suspension for a year.

I know, some will feel that it is not related to the game, but there is a moral outrage to compel dogs to fight, then kill them off.

Is PETA doing anything about this?

Yes it is sadistic but we need to let the courts figure out what is the truth before we condemn the man in the court of public opinion.

this whole thing just sickens me! I dont understand how someone could do that to an innocent animal!

If it were up to me (and it is probably good that it isn't) I would do the same to the abuser as he did to the animal.

Animal abusers are sick people. They have serious mental issues. They feel the need to pick on and laugh at helpless animals, for "fun". Bunch a losers if you ask me.

So far there is no proof that Mr Vick had anything to do with it, but things don't look good.

Killing any form of life should have the same penalty as killing humans. Self-defence might be argued if you kill a mosquito or poisoness snake or spider provided they attacked you.

The laws are not strict enough to keep people who are sickos from being deterred. People who abuse animals should get the same punishment as if they abused a child! People abusers most often start out as animal abusers. Laws NEED to be changed. Abuse of any kind gets my ire up!

Let's back off Mr. Vick. So far he has not been found guilty of anything. I remember when a bunch of people wanted to castrate members of the Duke Lacrosse team. It is obvious people have a short memory.
