Please HELP, I need advice...? |
I'm 24 and my ex b/f and I met at work. He however, quit the job over a year ago. I am still working there. During our relationship he abused me, emotionally and verbally. He put me down, humiliated me in front of others, used me, and then basically told me that our entire relationship was a lie. He ,however, continued to text/call me, and harass me and still does to this day. I changed my number 3 times, but he continued to email me (at work!) and also would get my new number somehow. He has written me crazy love letters, has broken picture/frames of us and left them on my car, has flattened my tires, and has told people he knows and also people I work with, horrible things about me. He is a disgusting human being and I can not stand him. Basically, i'm asking, will a restraining order keep him from being able to be employed at the same company or at least in the same building since at all times we would be within 50ft of eachother. Yes get the restaraining order if u have proof that he is a threat to u. also let your Human resource manager or boss know about him so they will be careful not to employ him. even if they give him a job and u dont get a restraining order, you can sue him for sexual harrasment at work if he troubles you. treat him like an invisible person and find a new bf soon. a straining order would keep him from harming you and as far as working in the same place it would not stop him from working there but will have it where he cannot come near you. Yes, if he follows it. If not, you could definitely prosecute him. I would get a restraining order and sue, if he abused you so and flattened your tires. Two words - Restraining Order. Get the restraining order then leave that job....as if you can not get another one........this is why employers don't like work love relationships...... |
