What kinds of SS benefits would a widow get if the spouse died younger than 60, without an employment record?

Unless she has a child under 16, she must wait until she's 62 and they she can get retirement on her husband's record. Meantime she probably needs to get on welfare.

Nothing but a $250.00 check for burial expenses. Yep - two hundred and fifty dollars.

Nada. Of course, you can always file for supplemental security benefits if the bar was met. Sponging off hard working taxpayers is the American way!

Not much.

Edit: Add this to the end of the second post..."or (God forbide) get a job".
