Are there any temp agencies or employers hire felons on deferred sentences? |
my husband and myself are currently on deferred sentences for a felony charge and have had hell finding employment although we are 4/5 years into it. can anyone help? I HAVE FIVE FELONY CONVICTIONS ON MY RECORD AND I HAVE WORKED FOR TWO DIFFERENT CITIES. I STARTED OFF WORKING FOR "LABOR READY" TEMP AGENCY AND ALSO WORKED FOR "APPLE ONE" TEMP AGENCY. I JUST PUT WILL DISCUSS DURING INTERVIEW ON THE APPLICATION UNDER THE QUESTION HAVE YOU EVER BEEN ARRESTED BEFORE. ONCE THE EMPLOYER GETS TO KNOW YOU AND SEES THAT YOU ARE A GOOD WORKER THEY TEND TO OVERLOOK YOUR PAST. AT LEAST THAT HAS BEEN MY EXPERIENCE. there's a new law that states that an employment agency cannot discriminate against you because you're a felon. I think the US army will hire you. |
