I accepted and employment offer from verizon and...........? |
Resigned from previous employer and now verizon cancelled my offer because of past licence suspensions..........please help I have no job now......Do i have any type of protection against something like this? It would be same even if you started working there and then fired you for lying on your application. Try speaking to your former employer. No. If you and Verizon had reached an agreement and entered into a contract for a specific period of time, you could sue for breach. If the offer had no specific period, then it was for a day and you could have been fired immediately. So, at most, you could sue for one day's wages. Verizon SUCKS!!! Call your old employer and if you turned in a notice and they haven't hired anyone maybe they will take you back. Worth a shot! And no you don't have any protection from this. Nope, especially if you withheld the license suspensions in your interview. contact a lawyer who specialized in employment law. Nope. |
