If i am being made redundant does my notice period still count?

I have been made redundant with my role being made redundant on
the 1st August. I am on a three month notice period, am i able to start employment immediately with an alternative employer or do i need to wait for my notice period to finish?

The notice period is only if you resign. If you have found another job, you can start it asap. Note though that if as part of your redundancy you are getting paid for a period after you have been fired, you will lose this once you start working.

No, there is no database that contains all the information of previous employers. The only way an employer will be verified is by contacting the reference you provided. Hope this helps.

You have the right to be fired. You have the right to be viewed as a problem employee. You may very well not be earning what you were promised and therefore are not being paid it.
