Do lawyers buy your case

I have a lawsuit. I quit my job on March 6,2007 after working for a company for two years. I then had a surgery done on March 20,2007 however my employer had already canceled my health insurance on March 18,2007. I have documents showing they with held money on my last pay check for also have a letter from April 11, 2007 stating" Blue Cross Blue Shield will be maintained for a resigned or terminated full-time employee up to the last day of the month following the last day of employment."

So I feel I do have a wonderful case and am just looking to make a quick $40,000-$60,000 on it to cover my medical bills and damaged credit. Plus it has put a lot of stress on my marriage. Are there lawyers who will just give you the money and buy the case from you? If they can make more the money would be theirs just looking to get the money fast without jumping through all the loops of getting an attorney and going through the loops.

You may want an attorney who will accept a contingency contract, meaning that you do not pay the attorney and that the attorney will only receive payment when the person you sue pays the debt. Some contingency contracts provide for the attorney to receive a third of whatever the defendant later pays; some contracts require a higher percentage, based on the difficulty and risks.

Good luck.

call the health insurance and tell them you have this letter you might have to fax it to them.

But i dont know any lawyer that will hand you money and then fight, most of these kinds of cases i think you will go to court and everything, then if you win, the lawyers will take their cut and give you the rest, there is no quick money in this

first, you should collect some resource by searching the relevant keyword in search engine,if you got good luck there, then your problem solved.however,if you are not able to find the ideal answer by doing that, here is the resource i recommend.http://health-insurance.onlinebestoffer....

All of this might not be as difficult as you think. If you are qualified for cobra, you have 60 days to elect to receive or deny those benefits. Find out if this is the case. Suing BCBS would be more fun anyway.

  • If an employee resigns voluntarily & leaves the company, is there a scenario where HR can alter final file?

Most employers will only verify the dates and salary of former employees. Generally, they can not change the reason for leaving a company after the employee left. Does it really matter?
