How can I find my own employment history I need the dates I worked and the employer's information.? |
So basically I'm trying to find a job but don't have this info. Unemployment bureau might be able to help in some states; so might the Socila security people if you were paying into that thru an employer The best way to do this is check your income tax returns. You generally do not have to be specific. Month and year are all most employers look for. Sometimes even only the year will work. The most important thing is to be honest with your new employer. Just tell them I don't have the exact dates, but it was this time frame. Your employment history is your business- Keeping track of this info is your responsibility. All you can do is find your check stubs. |
