This is a question about employment rules in ontario canada?

I was recently laid off and my record of employments states that I will not be returning anytime. I believe this means I am no longer employed by them. They have recently contacted me to tell me that during my temporary lay off I will need to continue paying them for my share of the insurance. I don't work for them and if they wanted this to be temporary do they not have to mark that on my ROE in the date returning section?

Contact the Human Resources department at the company and ASK THEM .

Don't be shy.

Jim B. Toronto.
