Can an employer find out about past employers that i dont report on my resume?

i dont want bad references from employers that i only had for a couple months. i worked at two jobs for about 3 months each.
i just started college so im not concerned with the gap in employment just worried that my future employer may discover i didnt report 2 part time jobs. im scared the managers there will be unprofessional and careless about the reference. i know neither of them care about my future employment. what should i do?

is my work history on my background check?

Yes... They can look at your employment history and see that you didn't report the two jobs. It is always better to report jobs you don't want to even if you were fired. The reason for this is that almost EVERY employer will do an background check, and when they see employers there that you didn't mention they will get very suspicious. More so than if you mention the two jobs.

-my 2 cents

But, you don't have to list all jobs by law! If they check, it's their choice, and you may tell them if you are asked that you didn't feel the job would add any skills to your resume as they were temporary jobs. Nothing to hide, just felt as if they needn't be listed, taking up space on your resume.

No. Only if you put them on your resume. And unless it is a larger company, they don't even take time to check your old employers anyhow. Don't worry about it....OR tell them about it and make a note that they were only part time, temporary jobs, but don't give a phone number.

They NEVER will find out about it unless you tell them. So relax.
