Is it legal to put hidden cameras in a bathroom for drug testing?

I am just curious if this is legal. I have a drug test Thursday for Pre Employment and it was just something I was thinking about.

First off are you sure it's a urine test? There are other ways they are doing the tests these days because it is fairly easy to cheat on a urine test. I do this as part of my job and I give a saliva stick test.
It is not legal to put "hidden camera's" in a bathroom, it is NOT illegal to tell you that there are camera's and it is your choice if you do not want to take the test. Most of the bathrooms that are used for urine testing don't need camera's because the water faucets are turned off and the sink isn't available for you to use. Essentially you go into a room that has a toilet in it and you are given a cup to use. You will most likely step out to another sink in order to wash your hands.The container they use to ship (if they do) will be different. One of them will have a temperature strip on it to make sure the test is right around normal body temp. (97.5-99.0) degrees. Then you will observe them putting a seal over the cap which will have your initials on it. Or they can do the test in front of you by placing a test strip into the container. They test for TCH (pot) Opiates (codine) Speed (meth & cocaine) ETOH (alcohol). Alcohol can only be detected if you've had something to drink within a 8-10 hour period. THC is up to 30 days and Opiates and Speed 72 hours. If you have something that is a prescription and you take it as prescribed, bring it with you and they MUST accept that and not consider it as a violation of policy.
I do a "spit stick" the person just places this white flat sponge that is on a skinny stick in their mouth, between their gum and the cheek and it stays there for 2 minutes, it tastes salty. Then I put it in a special container with some fixative in it and a courrier picks it up and I get the results in 48 hours.
If there is a camera and they don't tell you, do the test and then sue them and you'll never have to work again! LOL

depending on how strict the test is, you might have somebody standing behind you making sure you aren't cooking the books, as it were, to the test

No, it's illegal and stupid to put cameras in a bathroom. That's a lawsuit waiting to happen.

No, it is not legal, in fact some areas do not even allow camera phones into their washrooms - no idea how this is enforced, though.

i would think it violates the fourth amendment right to protection from unreasonable search and seizure. especially without a warrant.

but it isn't schools use them now too.

there will be someone with you that works at the testing facility that will make sure nothing illicit happens. ie, adding things other than just your own urine to the sample.

i doubt that hidden cameras in restrooms are legal
but some places have people go into the restroom with u while u take the drug test
