What will happen during my Employment Background Check if the records show that I am suspended from college?

I finished my Bachelors last year with absolutely clean records.

I was doing my Masters when I was under investigation for improper conduct - nothing illegal tho - at uni.

Right now when I applied for a job at an embassy I did not mention having enrolled for my Masters at all, but it is at the same uni and even though I am enrolled with a different ID# will issues crop up b/c of my current suspension?

Please help, I got offered a GREAT job but I can't relax for a second thinking I will be disqualified.

Honesty is the best policy. If you fess up at the git-go you won't ever have to worry about it and it is likely that they will understand your explanation.

If you lie or lie by omission and they find out (the truth will always come to light) then no explanation will be acceptable.

If you have already lied - go back and speak privately with someone and tell them the truth. You will be respected for doing so.

Do the right thing and do a good job and sleep well at night.
