I need Employment Law advice? |
Here is the situation. My dad has been working for a company for over twenty five years. He basically help start up the company as one of the supervisors there. He has been recognized and awarded for his hard work by his superiors, about a year ago the owner's son took over the company and moved to my dad's location that's where it went down hill. He has tried everything to get him out of there. He's tried to find reasons to fire him from trying to accuse him of stealing which was not true, to actually telling other managers that he is trying to get rid of him. They have hired other people for his same position and took away my dad's authority. The past couple of months they have made him travel and be away for a few months time, and when he returns he finds out his position has changed. He does work union and is afraid of taking it up with them because he is scared of the consequences. They don't want to fire him because of the money they'd have to pay him. Do I have a case?? HELP He should utilize the Union.....that's what they're there for. NO |
