How can i get a misdemeanor charge expunged if it happened after i was already 18?

i was told on juviniles can get charges expunged it is keeping me from getting employment and would like to get it off my record the charge is disseminating materials harmful to minors and if you can help me i would love to get all the help i can thanks

Depends on your state. Some states have statutes that allow you to expunge others don't. what state are you in?

Juvenile records can be expunged by the judge - essentially making the record unavailable to anyone but the courthouse staff - if the judge feels that the record could be harmful to the child later in life.

Adult convictions, not so much. You do crime as an adult, people find out about it. It speaks to your character.

You can petition the court for a modified sentence or to be found guilty of a lesser offense so that the "disseminating materials harmful to minors" charge can be disguised, but that would take a very willing judge and district attorney. I'm thinking if your rich family donated substantially to their reelection campaigns...
