Does the IRS do polygraph tests? Can past drug use disqualify me for employment? |
I am 21 years old and I am an accounting student interested in careers in the IRS. Currently I am very opposed to drug use and I don't do anything. However when I was 18 I smoked pot occasionally did shrooms and tried cocaine 4 times. I also once sold my buddies some pot I had! Probably a few times not for profit though. The only way they can find out about your past drug use is if they do hair follicle testing, a urine or blood test would not show any signs of drug use. If u do have to take a hair follicle test there is shampoo you can buy that can make your past magically disappear, same with stuff for urine tests. I wouldn't worry about it tho if ur clean now and stay that way, u do have to go thru all the schooling first...u have time and the longer ur clean the less u have to worry. Just hope they don't find this question...u know since u just confessed...good luck |
