The court served suit papers to my place of employment is this legal?

Yes

I served papers while in college. I got a doctor in a movie theater, I got a lawyer at a baseball game, I even got a minister at his girl friends.

If you got them, the service was proper. BTW, the court didn't serve them. The opposing party served them.

Yes, any place is fair game to a process server. One of the Beatles even got served in his shower.

Yep... they could catch you at the grocery store, it doesn't matter.

Yes.

Yes...

Of course it is.
