When do I complete an I-9 form? |
I'm about to start work for a company, but the I-9 form they gave me in the mail in a packet says "To be completed and signed by employee at the time employment begins." It must be filled out within three days of employment. you have to fill it within 3 days of joining the company. for example if you entered the united states on 1st july 2008, and join your company on 3rd july 2008, you have to complete it by 6th july 2008. this form will be kept with the employer. |
