10 points!!!!!! I need help from HR workers....Please! 10 points easy!!!!!?

I applied at a well known jewelry store, two months ago. After 4 excrutiating interviews and a drugscreen, i was given a conditional job offer last week, condition beign that I pass a background check. I have an infraction ( theft of property) which I verbally brought up to the store manager, since the application only asked for misdemeanors or felonies. My infraction (smaller than a misdemanor) is 7 1/2 years old. I know this will come up the background check, but the manager told me not worry about infractions, and that it is old. I missed a call from HR (in NY) but his message said its about the "employment offer"...Would he actually call to cancel my conditional offer? I know all my references are great and have been contacted, I also know they really want me, FACT. What would make you see I am reliable and honest, I mean Ive worked in Luxury goods for like 5 years and these HUGE companies have allowed me to control their inventories...I NEED THIS JOB THX

IF he called to have me explain my infraction, What should I say? SHould I offer an additional reference? I have the Loss Prevention Manager from Gucci who is LAPD that watched me work daily as inventory manager for 2 years. (I didnt use it cause I had others that were specific to the job opening)

take it easy... and pray about it...
if it's for you, God will provide... :o)

i am 13 years old i know you don't want my oppinion but her me out when you commited the felony did they say it was an official or inofficial case because just recently i commited a felony in the fith degree and i had to go to the precinct adnd they told me this would not effect me getting into a job or college. and see you are reliable and honest because you told him what you did and i hope you may give me the ten points but i doubt it but good luck.

How old were you when you commited this infraction? If you were under 18 those records will not be available when a background check is done. I think if the offer was cancelled he would have said so in the message. The fact that he didn't tells me he needs to communicate with you, not just tell you something, so relax.

Since when is theft of property not a misdemeanor? I think you may be confused on that part. A civil infraction is like a speeding ticket, not theft.
If your CONVICTION date is over 7 years old you usually don't have to list it.

Didn't you already post this question once?
You probably received the job.

my opinion is that you should call him back. i dont think he would have called to say u didnt get the job, usually they wont respond back at all. i think you may have gotten the job nd that they have over looked that infraction. you seem like you are very reliable just like you said. no worries.

Don't worry about it. I believe that they were just calling to let you know that you have the job.. And, BTW, I need a new pair of earrings if I am right.. Ha ha a.. GOod Luck..

na

yes

so whats the question

Now I'm gonna be honest with you it really depends on the looker on if they will choose to disregard a theft of property from 7 1/2 years ago - I myself would let it go if there was nothing else since then

I had a similar issue as a 16 year old my first phone job was for directory assistance and they pushed and pushed for our call times to be low so in order to lower my overall call time i just disp'd calls with out talking of course i got caught and was fired - 6 years later as an adult and of course by then realized how wrong something was I applied again hoping for them to overlook it and see that I had grown and would be more responsible they didnt see it that way

Now if they do call to cancel the offer I would definantly talk to them on the phone - Explain your situation at the time - Go on to tell them that you have grown etc etc Offer up your other experiences and references as you said

And as the other lady said God will provide
