What is Resume Verification? |
Can I get a verification on myself to see what comes up? That just means the potential employer is going to verify the info on your resume by actually contacting each former employer to ensure that you really worked there - because people lie on resumes all the time, as you might imagine. (You don't need to verify your resume, you know where you worked. A resume is not like a credit report where agencies hold record of it - though past employers can potentially come up on a background check.) Employers use various methods to check the contents of a resume, including web searches in Google, private detectives, and credit bureau. For a backround check and Credit check they will need you to sign a release same goes for drug tests. |
