How can I get more people to donate to a worthy cause?

I am bound legally to limit the information that I can provide, that viewers can possible get. Is there any way to get people to donate money to my wife's defense fund without giving more information?

We found that it is going to cost us a lot of money for her defense, but she was falsely accused of a crime (misdemeanor) that she didn't commit, and it is one of the few crimes that could affect her future employment. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

this may sound strange but get an old lady to sit on a chair where there are lots of people and give her a Christmas stocking to collect the money in when ever i see the old lady with the stocking i feel very guilty if i don't donate any of my spare coins

OK, I googled a bit - seems the story is real enough, but this is not the place to ask for money per the yahoo tos you agreed to.

Change that donate to fundraise then you'll be getting somewhere...Americans want something in return...Do something..We'll pay..even w/ high azz gas prices
