I love weed, I cant smoke but because I have a job with a random. Why can't weed be legal? Will it ever be?

I ask this because when you think about it cigarettes are legal and they kill people every hour from all the additives in them. I am just asking because I'm craving so bad but, because I value employment I don't smoke. Hell, it aint crack... And you never really hear about someone getting hit by a weed high driver but you do hear about drunk drivers. I'm not saying we should be allowed to smoke behind the wheel but when you're stressed wouldn't it be great to roll up a phat one and not have to worry about a random drug test...

I don't care for weed, but I feel it should be legal too. I hate the stench and it bothers my throat.

However I think the fact that it is illegal creates more problems then if it were legal. If I were king, I'd legalize it and regulate it, tax it, and sell it like booze. I'd also subject it to the same anti public smoking laws that exist today to.

To Minnie: We tried alcohol prohibition. It was a miserable failure, and brought us gangs and made millions of Americans criminals as they ignored the laws. Remember the old saying, "Those who do not learn from the mistakes of history are doomed to repeat them."

You don't hear of somebody being hit by a weed high drive because it is illegal and not that many people smoke weed. You hear of a lot of alcohol accidents because alcohol is legal and almost everyone drinks.

Alcohol and cigarettes should be illegal. Do you know with drawl from alcohol is the only one that can kill you? And it is legal. Go figure. We have the Kennedy's to thank for that. Ole Teddy is still going.

It is simply a matter of time before weed is decriminalized. Once the younger generation gets into positions of political power, say goodbye to weed being illegal.

cigarettes dont get you high, weed does. it was legal, so it wont ever be anymore. be smart, get off it before youre ****** right in your mind.

I am in favor of legalisation but also for an academic use of the stuff ; not while working.

maan im with you but probably the only time that weed will be legal is when the stupid *** goverment changes. which, well idfk when thats ever gona happen. =/

Dude, go to Germany. It's not against the law there.
