What does this mean (filling out an application)?

Do you have long-term, indefinite, or permanent work authorization for employment in the United States? *

Authorization??
is it talking about a visa or
are u legally authorized to work in the u.s??

if you are an United states citizen then you dont have to worry about it but if you arent then you have to have a work visa so you can work legally

Yes,
The employer is asking if you are here on a work permit, visa or whatever else they call it...and if it for a long duration of time before it expires (if it expires)

Authorization means specific permission (from U.S Govt.)

The job you want.. Is trying to find out if you will be here for a long time.... They dont want to hire you, and 6 months later you have to leave because your visa is expiring.

Filling out an applicatuion means:

Writing all the information on the application of the job you applied for.

Authorization does mean what you think. They must ask that because in many areas of the US there are illegal citizens.

They are asking if you are U.S. citizen and are able to work in the United States...that is all.

i seriously have no clue sry鈾?/div>
