Employment Laws in Florida? |
I live and work in Florida and I was hired in as a full time employee, however due to the state that America is in my boss is talking about putting me to part time, is this legal and can I collect unemployment?? Florida is an "at will" employment state. U can quit only after he puts U part time & it's not within ur terms from when U were hired Fl Law states that they have 2 disqualify U if you quit but U appeal it 2 prove that U left w/good cause it takes as long as 3 months. Make sure U give a resignation letter. Report It |
