Employment Question???? |
I live in California, and I heard that employees are allowed a (paid)15 min. break, if the shift exceeds 5 hrs....true??? or false?? please help! First off, DAMN you are cute!!! any break you take whether 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or 1 hours is NOT paid. why would your employer pay you for taking a break. they essentially would be paying you for standing around doing nothing. businesses are trying to make money, not give money away. but then again, it may vary from place to place. of coarse if you work in a mom and pop shop or a private business, they can set the rules according to what they want. didnt you read your hire paperwork? both, true and false!!!! |
