Can I get unemployment in PA? |
I told my boss that I was looking for other employment. The situation here is not good. After having a couple of days off to look for another job she asked me to put in my two weeks. I still have 5 remaining days of vacation. She asked me to put in my two weeks notice but I have not found other employment yet. I have the feeling that Im going to be let go. Im thinking I should not give a two week notice until I find other employment and if they let me go I would be able to get unemployment. I have been with the company now for almost two years. Im just wondering how Im going to pay the bills if I put in my two week notice and dont get a job between now and then. Do you think I could get unemployment if I dont give them a notice in writing and then they let me go? They are making things up now because they know Im looking for another job saying that Im on the internet all of the time and I dont do my work. That is not true. Otherwise why would they have kept me for alll this time. TY I don't think so; but file anyway. |
