If unemployed & owe child support, can you leave the state? |
To seek employment...to live with realitives (instead of living on the street). What are the rules or conditions of going out of state in this situation? You might be arrested. It depends on whether you are making child support payments on time or not. If the court thinks you have left the state to avoid paying child support, the judge might issue a warrant for your arrest.
