Are there ANY laws protecting exempt employees' rights?

Given that you qualify as an exempt employee, is there anything stopping a company from requiring you to work 12 hours a day 7 days a week with no vacation as a condition of employment?

What if it was not a condition of employment when you took the job, but rather they changed the rules? Kind of a, "do it or quit" kind of thing.

Youll have to contact the labor board, there may be a maximum number of hours that you can work, but being an exempt employee you probably dont have much to go on.

If you agree to that when you accepted the position, then no there is nothing you can do. It's your responsibility to find out what the conditions of your employment are before you accept a position.

if you are exempt,.probably no.

But, you are free to quit at any time.
