Employment Law - California? |
Is it legal in California to check credit for employment? I've heard that the law recently has said that it is not legal. It is legal but almost 95 % of the Employers out there don't even do that . They feel that if you passed the 1st and 2nd interviews, and there pretty good judge of Character your fine . I saw that posted on a job that i recently looked into and i thought oh nooooooo lol because my credit has a few dings on it :) but i wouldn't even worry about that . You may find that in a job with finances, but not so much with other jobs... Good Luck :) Oh and by the way i do live in California i'm in The Beautiful Bay Area... |
