Employment standards ...?


if i was acting manger at a store for a while and was not paid for all of it AND i never got my raise after 3 months and I think i am intitled to back pay for it....

what the hell would i type to search it? I have found the government of BC page and employment standards page and stuff.

but is there some technical term or something?

lol not a state..... BC, Canada.

i tried searching "acting manager" and "raises" and "wage increases" and such on the bc employment standas page.
i just dont know what to ask for i guess. what words i would use for the search.

If you live in the United States your are not entitled to any compesation over and above minimum wage. If you were acting in a management capacity I would agree that you are entitled to proper compesation for the job performed, but there is no existing law that would compel such compensation, unless you have a signed employment contract stating compesation terms with the employer.

Try Canadian Employment Law or Canadian Employment standards.
