Employment for convicted felon in oklahoma? |
what job opportunities are there in oki for a convicted felon 2 dope charges and a gun/burglary charge. cant do driving jobs no license. been working cash in hand but got laid off. desperate to stay outta trouble. its actually a friend back in oki. i;m in spain so tryin to help him... from here is a lil difficult.. he;s not a addict was a dealer. my cell bills gonna be hell but it will be worth it if i can help him Many retail businesses will hire you as a clerk or cashier. Dollar Tree for one does not require back ground checks on cashiers. I would apply for a stockers position. May want to call the contractors i your area as well and see if any are hiring. You might want to take advantage of your down time and get a little schooling. The local Welfare or unemployment office may be able to help you with this one. In Az, you get Job Training thru the state. i applaud your desire to stay out of trouble. just take it easy and remember life is a long haul. get any two bit position you can and make it yours. min wage burger flippin will pay some kinda rent, then just do the grind. work more hours than your coworkers; people always willin to give up shifts, save don't spend. in a year you've got cash and a life (such as it is) and you have the beginning of a resume. been there. Many recycling places will hire convicted felons. First of all it appears that you have been out at least a year or less. Second, you top my convictions with the weapon, and bugular(lol) charge. The point here is that if you really are serious about bundling the wreckage by just working. You might switch obsessions from dope to occupational burn-out. Best thing for us addicts is to slowly re-enter a society that either have never known or have forgotten. For all changes that have preceded while we were in our worst days! Do know that for the rest of our lives we will be hypnotized at certain periods when we "think" that what's the dam point of trying when sh*t travels so fu**ing slow! Where as before we'd just jump right on what ever it was we had to do sort of like in a rodeo. Taking the bull by its horns and accomplishing just about anything we aimed for. Now being clean sort of feels as if the gusto took off and abandoned us. |
