Do employment agencies discriminate against men? |
Most are run by women for women I think. And what about "Office Angels" How blatant does it have to be to be illegal. 1) perhaps I should have stipulated admin work (which is where most new jobs are now) It is just as you suspect... AND they discriminate by AGE and RACE. It is so fekking blatant but they are untouchable. I have been in Operations Management for 35 years and even spent 15 years as a customer service DIRECTOR maybe because women are the better communicator. im my view most office jobs are designated to women, especially when it involves one to one interviews etc. Males are more comfortable with women, and women are comfortable with women. thats why. i wouldnt call it discriminate against men. just apply to be a policeman , fireman or male stripper that should work whinger. Much discrimination continues to happen because it goes unchallenged. Of course it is discriminatory to refer to office workers as 'office angels'. No. Its not the employment agencies that discriminate its the clients - the agencies are only acting on a supply and demand basis Since when were 'angels' just female? can't men be angels?? Don't discriminate against angels. |
