Could employment background checks see warrants even police couldnt see? |
i got rejected for a job that i was sure i would get and the interviewer even said that unless there was some huge problem that i should get the job. I havent heard anything back and i was supposed to hear back like 2 weeks ago. i figured there must be like an outstanding warrant for my arrest and freaked out. i called my local police department and they said they could check my records (contrary to belief i guess u can check over the phone, my police dept even has a warrant division) the nice woman checked several databases and said she couldnt see any warrant in or outside of the state of california. i told her there was a problem with my background check and she said she didnt know what it could be. could the check have seen more than the police could? like some secret warrant? background checks also involve pulling your credit as well THEY POLICE SEE ALL. NO WAY THAT A BACKGROUND CHECK CAN SEE MORE THAN THE POLICE WHEN IT COMES TO CRIMINAL MATTERS. TRY TO BUY YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK ON LINE. WHY ARE YOU SO WORRIED ABOUT THIS WARRANT. YOU MUST BE A BAD GIRL. you are pretty. Sorry. They wouldn't be able to see warrants the police couldn't see, but if they did an in person investigation and spoke with people, they'd find out anyway. It all depends on how in-depth the investigation is and who's doing it. |
