Are Employment Tribunal judgements published; if so, where?

Employment Tribunal proceedings are private proceedings between the parties concerned. An Employment Tribunal is a Civil Court and just as in normal Civil Proceedings, the court is closed to the public.

However, cases that raise a new legal point will go on to the Employment Apppeal tribunal and possibly the European Court of Human Rights.

Once a case involves a key legal point, it is often tracked and reported in legal publications such as the Employment Law Reports, the Law Society Gazette or newspapers such as The Times.
