Re-employment for Vetrans? |
If I am currently working a full time job, but then enlist in the Army, (not the Reserve or Natl Guard). Am I entitled to get my originial job back at the end of my 4 or 5 year enlistment under Userra? No. You may get it back after you got out of the military. Your employer is under no obligation to hire you back. Leave under good terms and let him/her know after you have served your country you would like to be employed by him/her again. Main thing is, leave on good terms. You practically abandon your old job upon enlisting in the Army. Thus, its difficult to get back your job. I don't think so. You do know the army pays you for your service, don't you. no. i think thats only for guard/reserve |
