When pre-employment drug screening is done, when must employer notify employee if positive? |
I had a test done which was negative, which I expected it to be, but I thought my child may have done something funky to me with marijuana without my knowledge. If the test came back positive, should they have notified me immediately? It was pre-screening. After this was done, I had a complete physical and background check. Once those came through OK, I now have to be approved by homeland security clearance. I'm assuming they wouldn't spend the money to get me cleared if there was any negative marks on the screening, physical and background check or they would be wasting a lot money, what do you think? In the US--generally, they have no duty to inform you one way or another, unless they specifically agreed to do that. if you had mess up your be a goner by now . I'm thinking it came out OK for you woooooo i just wanna know what funky thing with marijuana did u think ur kid did to u... yes they should, but money talks here to , the power of the employer , it just shows their power over the employee, they got the thing done for them, but you are last to know, they got theres, trickle down economics so to speak, leaverage from the boss side down |
