Sams club felony employment terms?

I know of someone who has a felony for setting a convienent store they worked at to be robbed by a friend. This person now works at sams club, as a cashier. is this standard to let felons run cash registers?
what are the laws regarding this like do they have to hire them.

Sorry, I can't don't know too much about this. I have an opinion I just wanted to point out. You mentioned this person robbed a convenient store. Now this person is working as a cashier at another store. Why would Sam's Club hire someone who has been convicted a felony? If this person has been known to steal money, this is toatoally wrong. This person is obviously not qualified to work with money, so this person should have this job. Espechially as a cashier.

He/she could have lied on the application, and the hiring team of the store didn't check the background reports. The annoying thing of this is; there's many qualified job applicants out there that are getting turned down for retail jobs, that haven't beem charged of felony. Someone who has been convicted of felony has a job dealing with money, but someone who hasn't been charged with felony is haveing a hard time getting a job in retail.

This doesn't sound right.

Who they hire is at the discretion of the company. However, I don't think this person would be hired for a government job.
