What happens to the elder people in prison?

When someone with a lifetime sentence gets old and get's to the point where a "normal" person would go to a retirement home, what happens to them? Who helps them with personal hygiene, and that kind of things?

Most prisons have a geriatric wing. They have Certified Nursing Assistants and Nurses just like a nursing home would to take care of them.

They fulfill their sentences, but in the medical unit wing. Some are given parole, if a family member requests it and can care for them. They just don't let them go in to the world to die. The sentence given has to be fulfilled until a president, governor or judge finds just cause to pardon them or suspend their sentence.
