Is there any US gov.programs........{PLEASE READ}? |
RESPECTFUL RESPONCE 'S ONLY please like i dont feel bad enough//// to the frist 4 answers thank u /////but i have already tried all of these options...no funding is left for this month for rent ////they have utlity funding but not rent or housing funding for this month/// so lets keep tring Have you tried your local Trustees office? They usually can help in these situations. You can find them in the phone book or by looking online. Try the city directory. I am not aware of any federal programs to help with living expenses directly. I believe welfare funding on the federal level is given to the states to distribute. I wish you well and hope you can find a way. Generally, the local employment office maintains information on resources besides jobs. These resources include assistance such as those you're looking for. Wow.. I am sorry.. life has a way of throwing the occasional lemon our way .. have you tried giving your local chapter of the United Way a call? As for federal I am not sure. But many state workforce programs offer substance to situations like yours. I was in the same boat, minus the kids part, and was offered help after I sought it. Try your states unemployment website and there should be links to substance compensation for rent and food. But you will most likey have to call for exact details...good luck... Yes go to the department of job and rehab services, also D.H.S. and get the assistance... Good Afternoon Mrs. Unfortunately, Florida is a strongly conservative state, so you are probably out of luck. Hate to ask, but have you tried Social Services. Yes, I'm suggesting welfare...but only until you can get back on your feet, again. Also, you might ask you minister, or even the Salvation Army. im sorry there are nt many resources for people in this predicement i hv been there i am still struggling .bt if worst comes to worst go into a shelter for homeless ;sme shelters hv programs to help u gt ur disability strt. and help u gt temp. housing.sorry i can not help u any further.hope u gt on ur feet soon |
