How can i file a suit for property of my father occupied by other members of my family?

However this is my private issue but i need some help. because i have no support to advice me and take me in the right direction. i am the elder daughter of my family, and i have two sisters and two brothers, after my marriage, my two brothers created quarrels between me and my father and avoided me from the property rights and made an agreement by my father that they will be the owners of the property after my father's demise, my father passed away before one year, and i got to know about the agreement in this month, so, now i want to ask my share of property. so, please can anyone help me in this issue. is there any law to file a suit against them even after the agreement signed by my father for them.

File an extra-judicial partition of the estate of your father in court so that it will be equitably distributed between you, your brothers and sisters.

If the property was willed to them, and your father purposely left you out, your only option is to challenge the will. However, I don't see you doing so successful without the help of an attorney.

there is nothing you can do against your fathers last will. Verbal or written. But perhaps consult an attourney before you listen to anyone else.

you can challange the will. this is law but dont expect to much if he had a will it had to be drawn up by a lawer if he didnt then you have a better chance on it check to see it he had a will made up by a lawer. . in my opion?

all states (and most countys in those states) have legal aid, so i would contact them for an appointment to see if its not too late to contest the will or fight.

contact your state consumer agency, or look in the phone book for legal aid. if you still cant find it, call any attorneys office, they all know where the legal aid offices are.

as far as i know, you have a right to contest anything in the will of your father.
