I was unjustly incarcerated on remand for a year in Moncton, NB Canada. Video tape evidence shows my innocence

incarcerated in a jail for nothing, the crown and RCMP had the video tape evidence from day ONE "1", that there was no possible way I could have committed the crimes I was being accused of.

I was wrongfully and maliously incacerated and held in a dissociative 2 cell unit. at times severly mistreated, I was beaten for having to bang a door to get a roll of toilet paper.

I need a lawyer who will take my case on a percentage to sue the government on my behalf but do not know how to go about it, does anyone have any suggestions??

Abused

Loneliness and despair
Vulnerability proceeds trust
Conformity then resides
Within the individual mind

We all learn as children
To listen to our elders
Whatever pain they cause
Doesn鈥檛 mean anything at all

For as children we have fear
As teens were scared
Living in a world confused
Of further abuse profuse

Abuse, which may lead to the system
mental hospitals or prisons
Abuse abets more abuse
By those who say they care!!!

It's near impossible to sue the government.

Yes you can, if they never allowed/submitted the video tape evidence in court to prove your innocence! This happened to a woman in the UK recently and she sued because of defamation of character due to negligence. Report It

Don't back down. If you don't stick up for yourself, no one else will. Don't make threats or do something that'll get you locked up again though. Report It

I would contact Scobie Law office. They handle all sorts of criminal cases. I would suggest you look into legal aid to help you with lawyer fees. Mr.Scobie also handles legal aid cases. Hope this helps! Good luck with your quest trying to sue the government!

your nuts anyway if you didnt do whatever u did something else

I don't believe you can sue the government for putting you in jail even if you were innocent. But I believe you can sue the jail for the abuse.

That sucks.

Age discrimination is illegal, so states can not act on this alone. I do, however, think we need to pass a law requiring drivers to pass a road test every so many years.
