When will the 'hunting brigade' learn the error of their ways?

With the consent of the law and active encouragement from their elders, infant children are permitted to hunt and destroy creatures of the wild.
Is this license to slaughter defenseless animals really so far removed from sanction to kill humans as well?
Killing of any kind desensitizes the perpetrator and makes a repeat performance almost certain.
It is no mere coincidence that, in countries where hunting is forbidden, violent crime is almost non-existent.
If this nation is to reduce it's staggering level of violent crime, by far the worst in the world, then it's children must be taught, from birth, to cherish and respect all living things.

To wantonly destroy anything is wrong and should not be condoned. I certainly dont call hunting or killing of game for survival as falling under this heading though.
But then, I am also referring to the USA, where infant children are definetely NOT allowed to go hunting, so post an addendum here please and let me know where you are making this reference to. Thanks

I'm a hunter, yet I love animals. Humans have hunted ever since the begginnings of time. I don't exacatly understand your first question, but if you're suggesting that if someone could hunt they could also kill a human, than that is out of line and insane. In these countries where hunting is forbidden the crime may be down, but I bet they have problems with animal populations.
