What is rape and how does it happen?

i need this for my social education homework

when you have sex without there permission, forcing sex upon someone.

Rape is when a person forces sex upon another person; by using manipulation of force.
It can happen in marriages, or even on the street. It's usually committed by people who have suppressed sexual urges, or just by plain sick people.
