What education or training with animals do you need to be an animal control officer? |
What education or training with animals do you need to be an animal control officer? If you are just talking animal control (not law enforcement officers assigned to animal protective agencies with arrest powers), they don't need much training. Our local agency has a 1 week training program they go through to learn their procedures, they shadow another animal control officer for a couple weeks and that is about it. |
