Canadian law school?

how long is the legal education in canada? as in how long is law school here?

Well there are three big law schools here.

1) Osgoode in Toronto
2) Dalhousie in Halifax
3) McGill University

In general, the time required to pass the bar is 7-years. However, one could go to school for only a year, two years, and write his bar exam and if he passes he could become a lawyer.

My program is 3 years at University of Montreal. Bar school in Quebec is 3 to 8 months depending on how many prep course you want to take before passing exams.

McGill's program is four years because it combines Quebec Civil law and Common Law of the other provinces which prepares you to pass the bar in either Quebec or other provinces.
