Does DMV in California really ask for proof of everything you need when you're 16?

I'm 16 years old and my father has been teaching me how to drive (without a driver's permit) and has been preparing me with driving questions and more. I was just visiting the DMV California website and saw that I need to have held a driver's permit for 6 months, have completed driver's education, 6 hours of proffesional training and 50 hours of driving practice with an adult. Does DMV really ask for proof of all of this? Because I was about to go on Monday to take the written test but I don't have any of these requirements. Can I still take out a license without these requirements? Do they have the same requirements to take out a license when you're 18? Please help...Thanks

Another thing, when you take the driving WRITTEN test do you have to show proof of all those requirements too?

yes they do I just took my son yesterday to get his and they want it all...you have to a permit completed through a driving school, Birth Cert SS.

At 18 you can apply for a licence with out a permit.

Yep, if that is what the website says then that is what you will have to do. Good luck with getting your license on Monday ;)

you need the drivers ed certificate ,,, but the 50hrs you don't need proof

and no you just take the test over18
