Child labour...will this child labour act are exempted from movies, small screens ?

children under 15 years of age are made to do work that is physically or mentally or morally harmful as per the child labour law or custom. Because, this will interrupt their education and divert their concentration, and also social development which will keep them from attending the school. Generally, children working in factory, hotel/restarants, tea shops, weaving mills etc., or forced to work anywhere are considered against child labour law. No doubt, govt is taking more actions to enforce child labour law. My doubt is whether the govt gave exemption to movies, small screens where i find more children working and acting under the age of 15 by not attending the schools. i understand what you will think..if there is a scene father, mother, and son..where will they get a boy or girl to the roll. it is not concerned, and it is their headache. whether child labour will be enforced to movies and small screens or not ? There also the boy or girl are forced to act, besides work.

i think ''no'' . Kids on TV like circus animals. This word not from me. This is from the child development minister of india. Recently, the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) approached the union labour ministry to consider whether reality shows on child talent hunt on television come under the purview of the child labour act. The Indian govt decided to setup a five member committee to look the working conditions of these children. There is no working conditions defined for these children. There no details about working hours, nutritious food etc., while they are working. i hope a supervision is necessary to all in big and small screens and to see any violation of law under child labour act.
