Why join the navy if you can be a pirate?

Thus, why is it really considered unethical to be ruthless & greedy? I mean, the people who were so became the richest ever (including Bill Gates) & wrote their names in Golden Words in History!

Apple stole GUI idea from Xerox and Bill Gates stole it from Apple. And, he remained world's richest for 13 years consecutively!

Seriously, why join the navy if you can be a pirate? What benefit do we get by remaining good when all the people whom we consider dishonest & crooks are ruling the world, including most businessmen and politicians? If God is there, why hasn't He punished them? Is there no God?
