Has ANYONE successfully QUIT job and got unemployment in KANSAS?? |
I quit due to being harrassed and dealing with extreme rudeness. I addressed situation with 2 of my supervisors and situation didn't get better. I was a case manager, loved my job was praised for how awesome I had done. Was offered another Case Manager position in Jan, and gave notice. Former Boss ( one who harrassed me) stated they would compensate me what other agency was offering and we made verbal aggreement for me to stay and continue current position. 2 wks later am pulled into her office and told her back is against the wall she can't justify compensation she is paying me and I will now be a file auditor. Basically sitting in cubicle reading files before they go to court all day. Went back and forth for couple weeks how this didn't tie into my education or background and I was oppossed to moving in new position. Boss started getting very rude in many ways. Took issue to direct boss and nothing changed. They say I quit due to being dissatisfied!! She is director of agency . Furthermore, there is no one higher then her in my city. I had appeal hearing Tue and HR lady on phone stated in policy manual I signed years ago it states I should have taken issue to HR in another state!! I had no idea!! I buried 3 children in last year through job, have dealt with harassment, doors being shut in my face and being shooed away because they didn't have time to speak with me. I quit, i've appealed had hearing and am waiting. Just curious if any of you out there are in KS and have been sucessful with getting unemployment after quitting?? I have job lined up to substitute teach in Aug. just needing to figure out road from here. Thanks!! as a rule; no.There are always exceptions. Good luck |
