What remedy from the court we can have as per followings ? C?

11/08/07 --- Counseling resumed with fresh fee structure enhancing fee in management quota by three times.

Punjab Government has increase the fee structure by three times in management quota of MBBS and BDS in private colleges and put intelligent students into dock the face of government has uncovered as real face of corrupt politics has surfaced.

Parents moved to the Punjab and Haryana High Court where the court has asked them to first approach the fee fixation committee. Parents approached FFC three times with written request. The chairman of FFC is the secretary of medical education.
The parents again moved to the court on Jan 10, 2008. The notice of motion has issued to the government. The Punjab government till now has not submitted any reply on it.
The parents have not understood that where they should go and what to do 鈥? As notice of next year fee has been knocking them, which is expected in month if July. Some colleges have asked to deposit the next year fee in June

Since the matter is sub judice the parents have
no alternative but to deposit the next year's fee in June/July if the matter is not settled by then and wait for the final ruling.
Incidentally,I should have thought that only students, who do not secure admission in the normal course on merit basis, opt and apply for
management quota seats,by paying exorbitant
sums to private colleges.Having thus jumped the queue,it is strange that parents are now complaining of fee increases when they are the ones who encourage and provide fodder(money) to the managements of private colleges to appease the latters' greed. Now they complain when the shoe starts to pinch.
Strange are the ways of humans.

Ask your advocate to press for early hearing in the High Court in view of the urgency keeping in view of the impending admission. If the State Government chose not ot file their counter, the Court may either urge them to do it fast or may proceed to decide the case, with the available material on record and with the oral submission made by the Government Pleader. It depends on the effort made by your advocate to impress on the court about the urgency of the matter.

I don't think you will get a proper answer in YA. This is a complicated question that needs a lot of experience with the system in question.
