Do We Mind Taxes? |
Republicans are always trying to lower taxes, give tax breaks, and argue that these "help" the average person. I never feel helped. While Democrats are lambasted for always wanting to raise taxes for services that might actually do so. all i have to say is, look at the efficiency levels of the government. Taxes, despite what "conservatives" say have never actually been lowered. Tax cuts are more like tax shifts from one kind of tax to another. I agree with you. I do not maind paying my taxes, but I do want more for what I do pay. I also would like the IRS to take their share and leave me the heck alone. I should not have to figure out whetjher or not the government has taken the proper amount. If the IRS cannot figure out what I should be taxed, they shouldn't tax me Yes I mind taxes alot.........You think you are not helped when fact is you were helped alot from the tax decreases. Just wait until a Dem gets into the White house, your taxes are going to RISE tenfold depending upon what more entitlement programs they put into place. I mind ALOT, it is my money, they piss it away on nothing that I can receive, or fraud and corruptness....................... I dont mind taxes at all, even paying for those things - if the money goes to where it is supposed to. It seems too often we pay taxes here for xxxx but intsead it goes to b, g, f, l, k. Because this country is suppose to be a democracy...not a socialistic society. What your talking about it complete socialism. How much of your individual comfort and support should be provided by your government and the cost transferred to others? I do not think it is the governements job to provide anyone with that which they should secure for themselves byu virtue of their own hard work and effort. Want a house? Get a job and buy one, You want healthcare? Fine, buy it. There are plenty of low cost options. Want a college degree without $100k of debt? Go to school and pay your own way, I did. I graduated from college with all of $1000 in debt. |
